Chapter 845 – Chapter 835: Adversity [ Second Watch ]

Dudian looked at the slowly recovering worm and said to Amelia: “You stay here.”

Amelia saw that Dudian was about to leave. She was nervous. It was dark here. She ate two worms and her strength increased. Her vision was still limited to three to five meters. She didn’t know what Dudian had found.

Dudian held the knife and rushed towards the desolate insect.

The desolate insect was completely startled by Dudian’s action. Its body was almost three meters long. The hole on its head suddenly expanded. It opened vertically from the inside to reveal a ferocious mouth, the mouth was full of sharp teeth. The mouth was slightly opened but the inside of the mouth was pitch black. The sharp teeth extended deep into the body. It seemed that the entire body was full of sharp teeth.

It let out a sharp sound and quickly swam towards Dudian.

Dudian’s eyes narrowed. He raised the knife and cut off its head. He twisted his wrist and raised the knife to cut off the middle part of its body.

The body of the worm was cut into several pieces.

Although it was quickly dealt with but Dudian’s eyes were still solemn. The speed of this worm was extremely fast. It was faster than all the previous ones. It was comparable to the pioneer level. He didn’t know if it was the strongest worm here, if there was a stronger worm in the depths of the cave, then it was very likely to be an inner desolate or even… there might be a dominant level worm!

He didn’t dare to be careless. He turned around and shouted to Amelia: “Come here.”

Amelia heard Dudian’s voice coming from the cave. She was relieved and immediately rushed forward.

Soon, Aisha and Amelia came to Dudian’s side. The difference was that Aisha was summoned by Dudian with a bell.

Seeing that the ground was broken into several pieces of giant worms that were still wriggling, Amelia’s face was extremely pale. Her first thought was how could there be such a big worm. Her second thought was how could she eat such a big worm?

Dudian saw her eyes and said: “Do you want to try it?”

Amelia quickly shook her head like a rattle drum.

“Go!”Dudian continued to move forward. After walking for a while, the vision of the cave suddenly opened up. There was a wide cave like the underground world in front of him, there were four or five worms which were as thick as the previous ones.

Dudian was surprised. He told Amelia to wait for him and took the initiative to rush towards the worms.

The worms reacted quickly after being startled. They immediately screamed and rushed towards Dudian.

Dudian’s figure seemed to have split into three. His blade flashed and the few worms which were rushing towards him were quickly dealt with.

Dudian was relieved but his mood was a bit heavy. His previous guess seemed to have a faint possibility of coming true. If he encountered a dominant level insect, he would have to ensure that he would not be injured, he had to let Aisha cooperate with him to attack. However, this was the thing that he was most unwilling to do. In the wilderness, being injured would increase the probability of death to more than 70% .

The cave was very wide, as if he had returned to the village world outside the Earth Dragon Cave. The dome of the cave was more than ten meters high, and the surrounding rock walls were stained with viscous liquid. It was very wet, and there was a puddle on the ground, the water inside was jet black, and there were sharp stone cones protruding like bamboo shoots. After walking for more than ten meters, Dudian suddenly heard a rustling sound.

He stopped and listened carefully.

The sound was like the sound of scales rubbing against the ground, but the sound was dense and there were many of them.

He tried his best to look forward. Soon, there was an aghast scene at the end of his field of vision. He saw a mass of desolate insects coming from the cave in front of him. They were like a school of fish in the water, he found that there were black and thick insects. Each of them was as big as the previous ones. There were several four to five meters long giant insects among them.

Dudian’s scalp went numb. He had encountered insect swarms in the passage. He had encountered them several times because of Amelia’s attraction to the insects. However those insects were small and medium sized. Even if they were in groups they could be easily dealt with, however, the insects in front of him were different. They were comparable to pioneers. Moreover, he didn’t know what other special abilities these insects had, such as super-strong corrosive liquid or poisonous gas.

Run!

Dean turned around and pulled Amelia to run. Aisha followed closely behind him.

Soon, Dean retreated to the narrow passage outside the cave. The few giant insects that he had cut off previously seemed to have mastered half of the method of movement. They wriggled and crawled towards him, but their speed was not fast.

Dudian used the knife to cut them off and rushed into the passage. He was trying to find a solution as he ran.

The passage was full of broken worms. Some were still writhing on the ground while others were dead. However, when Dudian passed by, he immediately raised his body and stretched towards Dudian’s feet.

“Ah!”Amelia screamed.

Dudian looked at her. There was a Snow White Worm on her leg. It was wrapped around her thigh.

Dudian frowned as he swung his sword. Amelia was scared and shouted again. However the next moment she felt her leg loosen. The white worm was cut into two ends but her white thigh was not hurt.

She was relieved as she didn’t expect Dudian’s knife skills to be so accurate.

Dudian turned around and saw that the giant worms were still chasing after him. They rushed into the narrow passage.

Dudian’s face turned ugly. would these insects chase him out of the Dragon Cave?

He suddenly saw a group of small and medium sized insects in front of him. All of them had been cut off by him. He didn’t expect that in less than half an hour they would be able to move again.

Two groups of insects were attacking him from both front and back.

Dudian’s face was ugly. Although he wasn’t afraid of the small and medium-sized insects coming from the front, but there were many of them. It would take time to clean them up. Moreover, the huge group of insects behind him was imminent. He couldn’t wait.

Amelia didn’t understand what had happened. But when she saw the anxious look on Dudian’s face, her heart was a bit scared. She knew that the thing she was most worried about had happened, she heard the sound of the rear passage wall being hit. The sound was louder than the previous ones she had heard. It was like the sound of countless beasts approaching. She could imagine some terrifying images in her mind.

Was she going to be buried with him here?

There was a trace of bitterness and fear in her heart. This was her purpose for coming here. Even if she couldn’t bury Dudian with her, she could severely wound him. Moreover, the priest had already arranged the preparations outside, she would capture the severely injured Dudian and interrogate him to find out his secret and the coordinates of the wall.

This was the plan of her and the Great God. It was obvious that the plan was going to be completed. However, she was a bit afraid. She wasn’t afraid of death but she was afraid of being bitten to death by these ugly things.
