Chapter 211: Chapter 211: Request To Join The War

Bai Xifeng went to see her father. Bai Xiang was busy preparing for the upcoming war but still willing to allocate some time to his beloved daughter.

“Father.” Bai Xifeng smiled as she greeted her father.

“Xixi, I heard that you want to see me.” Bai Xiang stated.

“Hmm… I know that you are busy preparing for the war. But I have something to ask you.” Bai Xifeng stated.

“What is it? You can tell me.” Bai Xiang waited for Bai Xifeng’s words.

“Father, can I join you in the war.” Bai Xifeng looked straight at her father when she mentioned this.

“What did you say?” Bai Xiang who was sitting down stood up when he heard that his daughter wanted to join the war as well.

“I want to join the war.” Bai Xifeng stated.

“Xixi, it is not a game.” Bai Xiang sat down again and sighed.

“I know, Father.” Bai Xifeng said.

She clearly knew that this was not a game or something like that. However, she still wanted to join it. She wanted to have more experience in battle especially with humans. She did have some experience in battle with the beasts but not humans.

Fighting with humans was not the same as fighting with beasts. Beasts only knew how to attack their opponents by force. However, fighting with humans was much more complicated since humans used their minds to fight.

In order to survive, she needed to learn and have more experience fighting with humans. And the war was the best place to get that.

“Xixi, you…” Bai Xiang wanted to talk about the dangers that she might face when they were on the battlefield.

“Father, I am also a cultivator. In order to become stronger, I need to know how to fight in battle. I want to stand beside you and show others that I am your proud daughter.” Bai Xifeng stated.

Bai Xiang looked at Bai Xifeng. It was like he was seeing his wife. His wife also said the same thing like wanting to stand beside him facing the war.

Bai Xifeng could sense a change of emotion inside Bai Xiang’s eyes.

“Father…” Bai Xifeng called her father.

“You are just like your mother. She also said the same thing.” Bai Xiang felt to hold back his feelings.

Bai Xiang patted Bai Xifeng’s head. “If that is what you want, you can join the war. However, promise me that you will put your safety first.”

Bai Xifeng’s eyes lit up when she heard her father’s decision to allow her to join the war as well.

“Thank you, Father.” Bai Xifeng hugged her father.

Bai Xiang smiled when he easily got a hug from his daughter.

After that, Bai Xifeng let her father go.

“Father, I will go first.” Bai Xifeng waved her hand and left the room.

Bai Xifeng gathered his subordinates and told them about joining the war.

“What? Young Miss, are you really joining the war?” Xiao Li asked.

“Hmm…” Bai Xifeng nodded.

“Young Miss, it is too dangerous.” Xiao Li said.

“Don’t worry. I will try not to die on the battlefield.” Bai Xifeng stated.

The three Yu Siblings and Hu Meifeng also looked worried.

“You guys, let’s be optimistic, okay? I will try not to die there.” Bai Xifeng looked at her subordinates.

While Bai Xifeng was talking to her subordinates, Bai Tingfeng rushed into the room.

“Xixi.” Bai Tingfeng came panicking.

Bai Tingfeng pulled Bai Xifeng’s shoulder to face him.

“What are you thinking?” Bai Tingfeng asked.

“Big Brother… What…” Bai Xifeng did not even finish her words.

“Why do you want to join the war?” Bai Tingfeng asked.

Bai Xifeng sighed. “Big Brother, calm down.”

“How do you expect me to calm down?” Bai Tingfeng asked again.

“Big Brother, I am doing this for myself. It is not like I am trying to kill myself.” Bai Xifeng said.

“But…” Bai Tingfeng wanted to argue.

“Big Brother! I am also a cultivator.” Bai Xifeng reminded Bai Tingfeng.

Bai Tingfeng finally calmed down. That’s right. His younger sister is a cultivator too. She needed to face the danger of the cultivator’s world, the world where you might be killed if you are not strong enough.

“Big Brother, don’t worry. I will survive. You should know that I have my contracted beasts with me. If I am in danger, they would protect me.” Bai Xifeng stated.

Bai Tingfeng suddenly remembered about his younger sister’s contracted beasts. She did not only have one but three. She should be safe under their protection, especially the white python.

“Big Brother, I have a request.” Bai Xifeng suddenly stated.

“Huh? Request? What is it?” Bai Tingfeng asked?

“Let’s fight.” Bai Xifeng smiled.

“What?” Bai Tingfeng was taken aback.

“We will fight as a mock battle. In that way, you can see and understand my ability.” Bai Xifeng explained.

“Oh…” Bai Tingfeng understood.

“I will fight by myself without the help from my contracted beasts. From that, you can evaluate my skill.” Bai Xifeng stated.

“Hmm… Let’s go.” Bai Tingfeng nodded.

They went to the training ground. Some soldiers are training as well. They were surprised to see their Junior General Bai coming to this training ground. They also noticed that Sir Long Feng was behind, following Bai Tingfeng. Bai Xifeng became popular due to her pills. They wondered why these two coming over at this time.
