Chapter495 This TV Series Is… Extraordinary

Turning on the TV, the next scene followed.Wanyu hurriedly waved at the bus and rushed onto it. After that, under Zhan Bo’s speechless gaze, she hid underneath Zhan Bo’s seat.

After some time, two other people wearing shades and black uniforms rushed into the car. With the way they were dressed, one could tell they were ruthless characters. The random appearance once again caught the attention of the viewers.

Zhan Bo got anxious and could not resist cowering slightly. It was obvious who the target of those black-suited guys was.

Just as the atmosphere turned serious, the bus driver once again bellowed unexpectedly, “Hey hey hey! Either you pay with coins, swipe your card, or scram!”

With the same words, he immediately broke the serious atmosphere.

In the next scene, the two men in black suits were shooed off the bus without losing their composure.

“Tsk. Trying to dress like The Matrix yet can’t afford to pay the bus fees,” the driver huffed condescendingly.

“Pfft!”

On the table, one of the students who was having a drink spit his drink out.

A thought came to their mind at the same time. ‘That bus driver is good!’

Following that, the TV series went all out. The manly Hu Yifei made her appearance. Her ferocity mixed with idiocy once again attracted much attention. After that, Zhan Bo and Wanyu got in the wrong car, followed by a Go-Kart racing scene on the road. “I’m a good guy, the good guy is me. I’m Zeng Xiaoxian!”

Each character was introduced in a memorable fashion scene after scene. Everyone had their own charms, and every scene was filled with laughter that could not be stopped. It left a deep impression on them.

What was supposed to be a student’s gathering with grand discussions started to steer its topics toward the TV series. They had almost forgotten to eat, and the endless laughter kept pouring in.

“Damn, that driver is the true hidden boss. He’s definitely the type of ruthless person that punches the elderly and kicks little kids when he was young.”

“A tractor managed to drift on the road, and even overtake other cars. How did they come up with such a script?”

“I can’t take it anymore. Let me laugh for a bit. I really can’t hold it in anymore.”

“That public call-in show by Teacher Zeng is just too funny. Mistakenly eating moth balls while eating wontons, hitting a nail with a fly swatter, then destroying the wall just to see the homeowner and police officers. Hahaha, my stomach is aching from too much laughing.”

“Teacher Zeng’s solutions are amazing. Pretending to have bad reception and hanging up. I wonder how much trauma the caller would have?”

The student that supported Actor Y from the beginning started laughing. “How’s it? I told you Actor Y won’t let us down, didn’t I? This TV series is too interesting. It’s full of comedy.”

Interesting?

It was beyond interesting.

The plot connection was perfect. Each change of scene was not out of place, and most importantly, the exchanges were humorous and the actors’ acting skills were superb. It was difficult not to laugh.

“Oh my, it’s Actor Y after all. I don’t think anyone else can film a TV series like this.”

“F*ck!” The student with glasses was shocked after keeping silent for some time. “This TV series…is amazing.”

Before this, he did not think that Actor Y could come up with anything good and had ridiculed it.

This kind of TV series was boring?

If it were someone else filming it, it would be.

However, would Actor Y’s production be the same?

The students who looked down on it were smiling sheepishly. The face-slapping came too quickly.

It turns out that it had nothing to do with the genre of the TV series. It was mainly dependent on the director. Nobody was the same. How could Actor Y’s talent be measured with common sense?

Quite some people could not resist from posting in their WeChat Moments, lamenting, [Oh my heavens. This TV series renewed my worldview. It’s just too amazing.]

Very soon, the comments started flooding in.

[What happened? What TV series were you watching? I’ve watched For My Love. It’s not that great, is it?]

[I watched Palace. It seems okay, but it’s not to the level you’ve described.]

[This lamentation is a bit too exaggerated, isn’t it? What TV series is this?]

[I’m talking about iPartment! It’s too f*cking amazing!]

[What? iPartment? You must be kidding!]

[Is that sarcasm?]

[I too, have watched iPartment. It’s awesome. Highly recommended. Actor Y is too good!]

A lot of people were too engrossed in the show and forgot to comment. It was not until the end of iPartment’s first episode that they finally woke up from their daze.

[F*ck, that’s too funny. This is definitely the work of gods!]

[This is amazing, really amazing. Damn it, I finally found what series to follow next. What a find!]

[This is such an amazing series. Who said iPartment was no good? That’s it, I need to help clear its name!]

At the end of the first episode, Weibo, Tieba and the internet immediately went wild.

At first, the other TV series had paid for trending searches. However, at such a time, under the countless support from the viewers, iPartment pushed forward at full force and went up to third place on the trending search list!

[Because of our many years of online friendship, I’ll share with you guys a work of the century—iPartment!]

[From what I can remember, it’s been 10 years since I’ve been this happy. Thank you iPartment.]

[That’s right. Just like crosstalk, I felt that all the actors were so humorous. Just looking at them makes me want to laugh.]

[It’s true. I’ll swear on my morals. iPartment is definitely worth watching. Tonight, I sat with my family in front of the TV and our laughter never stopped. My parents are already in their 60s and my child is eight years old. However, when we watched iPartment together, we were all laughing happily together. Thank you iPartment!]

[Previous post, I felt the same. I’ve never seen my old father laugh that happily. It’s truly touching. If iPartment can maintain this quality, I’ll be its die-hard fan!]

[F*ck, is it that exaggerated? They hired such amazing spammers?]

[You can choose to believe it or not. That’s it, I need to go watch the second episode.]

…

At that moment, Zhang Yong was similarly seated in front of the TV. He was watching the Banana TV station in a daze.

His head was still humming, and he was absolutely stunned by this huge surprise.

Although he agreed to air iPartment out of respect for Singer Y, he did not put much hope in it. He was an emotional person, so it was out of his gratitude for Singer Y that he forcefully pushed iPartment to air despite the pushback from the station.

A TV series that depended on connections would not normally show any good results. For that, he was already prepared for it to flop.

However, he realized that he was gravely mistaken. Just from the first episode alone, he knew that this TV series was…extraordinary. Truly extraordinary!

Frankly, even if the following episodes fell apart with a crappy plot, just the quality of the first episode would ensure the TV ratings remain decent!

Why? It was because of the first impression! The foundation for its reputation was set.

His face was flushed from the excitement, and he impatiently called the chairman of Banana TV. “Chairman, have you watched iPartment?”

“Nonsense! Although I don’t carry much hope for it, it’s still a program from our TV station. How can I not watch it?” the chairman retorted. He paused for a moment, then continued, “Old Zhang, you know me well. I don’t usually use vulgarities, but this time, I can only say—F*ck! Our Banana TV once again hit the jackpot. This is going to be a big hit!”
