Chapter 2804: Chapter 121: Jin Wutu (Part 2)

Mo Hua silently counted the heads in his mind, feeling a bit emotional.

With so many Golden Core cultivators dead, no one dared to pursue, intimidated by Lugu’s might.

Alone, driving away strong enemies and killing numerous Golden Core cultivators, Lugu unleashed his Escape Skill in the desert, traveling solo until he suddenly discovered someone daring enough to throw a fireball at him. With a cold glance in that direction, he saw Mo Hua waving at him from behind a large reef.

The fireball was thrown by Mo Hua.

Lugu couldn’t muster any anger.

He restrained some of his killing intent and joined Mo Hua and the others.

After meeting up, Mo Hua said, “This is not a place to linger, let’s return to the camp first and then plan further.”

Dan Zhu nodded.

Lugu remained silent but did not object.

Thus the group, braving the wind and sand, walked for an hour until they joined the main force of six thousand Barbarian Soldiers.

Young Master Gongtu had only been shocked by the strength of Lugu and Chi Feng, but now, seeing this grimly armored and overwhelming Barbarian Tribe army, he felt terrified, with his limbs trembling.

Mo Hua ignored him and simply ordered someone to find a place to temporarily settle Young Master Gongtu and his beautiful concubine.

Surrounded by desert, these two were deemed “useless” in Mo Hua’s assessment, and once they entered the desert, they were almost certainly doomed.

After settling the two, Lugu suddenly approached.

He said nothing, but Mo Hua understood his intent.

Mo Hua then asked, “Who is that person?”

Lugu replied, “He is a subordinate of my brother Sishen, also one of his close confidants, named Jin Wutu.”

“Jin Wutu?” Mo Hua was a bit surprised, “Isn’t he called ’Bone’?”

Lugu replied, “Not all Barbarian Cultivators from the Shugubu have ’Bone’ in their names.”

Mo Hua curiously asked, “Is that so?”

Lugu looked at Mo Hua, originally not wanting to bother, but finally spoke with patience:

“It depends on Bloodline, ancestors, and branch origins. Those of the same line or with connections are called ’Bone.’

Mo Hua lightly nodded and didn’t dwell further on the matter, lest he appeared amateurish.

Lugu’s expression turned gloomy, “This Jin Wutu is a close confidant of my brother, supposed to be his right arm, fighting alongside him. But now, the Sibone Tribe is gone, my brother is dead, and he found such a good place to enjoy himself. There’s definitely something wrong here.”

Mo Hua’s gaze darkened, feeling unusual as well.

This Jin Wutu may be involved in numerous cause-and-effect situations, needing to be caught for questioning.

That Shedding Skill of his, Mo Hua also found it familiar.

Additionally, Mo Hua was somewhat concerned and asked, “Does Jin Wutu usually wear brocade robes?”

Lugu shook his head, “The custom in the Great Wilderness is to wear robes made from monster beasts’ fur, and the battle armor is typically Demon Armor. Brocade robes are decadent influences brought over from the Taoist Court. My brother, Sishen, hated such extravagant trends, forbidding anyone in the Sibone Tribe from wearing them.”

Lugu coldly said, “People from the Taoist Court are generally no good; everyone’s thoughts are malicious. Such things that can’t go to the battlefield, ’extravagance and vanity,’ must have been brought over to corrupt the warriors of the Great Wilderness.”

Mo Hua, originating from the Taoist Court, who was not considered “good,” found himself somewhat at a loss for words.

However, hearing Lugu’s comments, Mo Hua felt the problem with the brocade-wearing Jin Wutu could be even bigger.

Mo Hua thought for a moment and said to Lugu:

“Tomorrow, take a few people, not many, five or six Golden Core cultivators, along with one or two hundred Barbarian Soldiers, to surround the Oasis Tribe and demand they hand over Jin Wutu.”

“If they refuse, then attack them directly.”

Lugu frowned, “Even if I attack inside, not knowing where Jin Wutu is, I still can’t capture him.”

Mo Hua shook his head, “Jin Wutu fears you; he definitely won’t show himself again.”

“You’re not attacking to capture him but to pressure him, to show him that the oasis is not a sanctuary.”

“You just need to attack and simultaneously shout his name while killing; he will certainly become fearful and find a secretive way to escape.”

“As long as he leaves the oasis…”

Mo Hua, grasping Jin Wutu’s hair, said calmly, “he won’t escape my grasp.”

For some reason, Lugu felt that the current Mo Hua resembled a soul-snatching Demon Monster.

Lugu thought for a moment and continued, “Why not directly send Barbarian Soldiers to flatten the oasis, leaving Jin Wutu nowhere to hide?”

Mo Hua shook his head, “This oasis is peculiar, hiding unknown secrets inside, not to be rushed.”

“Moreover, leaving the oasis gives Jin Wutu a ’nest’ here. If you fail to capture him once, you can try again.”

“Once the oasis is destroyed, if Jin Wutu loses this ’nest,’ and we fail to capture him, next time, we won’t know where to find him.”

There are innocent Barbarian Cultivators inside the oasis too.

Once the army goes to battle, swords and blades are indiscriminating, and many innocent Barbarian Cultivators may die.

Unless absolutely necessary, Mo Hua doesn’t want to make things final.

Lugu thought for a moment and nodded as well.

In terms of battlefield killing, he is indeed very strong.

But when it comes to strategic thinking and intricate tactics, he knows he can’t compare to this Shaman Lord from the Danque Tribe.

The next day, Lugu followed the plan.

He led five Shugu Golden Core cultivators and two hundred Barbarian Soldiers to attack the oasis.

Within the oasis, the Late Stage Golden Core elder in black-green robes personally led the troops to battle.

The two sides fought fiercely outside the oasis gates, with swirling sand and an impressive momentum.

About halfway through the battle, Lugu suddenly charged alone into the oasis, his cultivation high and vitality potent like a demon, leaving countless souls of the dead under his Bone Blade, regular Golden Core cultivators couldn’t approach him at all.

After storming into the oasis, Lugu wreaked havoc while activating his Golden Core Power, shouting loudly:
